Book Report: Fiction

Assignment:

1. Fill out the top portion of the Book Report Clipboard
2. Read a fiction book
3. Fill out the remainder of the Book Report Clipboard
4. Complete the "Pocket-Book" book report

Directions:

Prepare the blue jeans:

1. Cut out the two back pockets and a handkerchief for each pocket (two for the front pockets and two for the back pockets).
2. Cut out the "blue jeans".
3. Glue the pockets to the back of the jeans.   Glue only along the narrow border of the pockets.
4. Carefully make a slit along the solid line of the front pockets.
5. Place each handkerchief in the appropriate pocket.   Be sure the information can be seen.   Glue in place.
6. Glue the front and back of the blue jeans together.

What to write on each pocket handkerchief and the patch:

Location	Task
Left Back	Description of the main character including the character traits (personality)
Right Back	Summary of the book, including your opinion of the book
Left Front	The most important problem(s) confronting the main character
Right Front	Setting of the story
Patch	Author and Title

If you wish, you may color the blue jeans.
