Supplemental Math Worksheets [http://missyoung.justmoi.org/0405/math.htm] - You can find the supplemental math worksheets available for download here. In the refresher section, you can find worksheets to help refresh or review important concepts for 4th grade. Reteach pages help students gain more practice with specific lesson topics. The Challenge pages offer students a chance to enhance their learning by applying lesson concepts in different ways. Additional chapter worksheets will be uploaded as we progress through the year. I have also added a page of "Math Notes" to which I'll type up some notes we have taken in class that might help you support your child at home. It is linked from the math page, or you could click here to go to http://missyoung.justmoi.org/0405/mathnotes.htm.
Daily Oral Language (D.O.L.) Pages [http://missyoung.justmoi.org/0405/dol.htm] - Here, you can download the Word Document and PDF versions of our weekly DOL pages for extra practice at home. The purpose of these pages is not for students to memorize corrections, but rather to gain a more in-depth understanding of language conventions. To make the best use of these sheets, review the reason for each correction. Each day, we review the corrections and language convention rules, correcting our daily sentences and adding the rules to our D.O.L. notebook. In-class D.O.L. quizzes are administered every two D.O.L. weeks.
